Akmal and McKay shining on world stage

Leicestershire Foxes’ two NatWest T20 Blast overseas players have produced some outstanding performances on the world stage recently.
Pakistan international Umar Akmal smashed 56 not out off just 27 balls in their latest T20 International against New Zealand in an innings that contained a quartet of fours and four maximums.
Seamer Clint McKay took 14 wickets at 13.57, including 3-16 in the crucial final group game against Sydney Sixers, as Sydney Thunder qualified for the semi-finals of the KFC Big Bash.
Only Adil Rashid took more wickets in the group stage with McKay maintaining an impressive economy of 7.35 as well as carrying a threat.
