An Evening of ABBA added to West End Double-Header

Following on from the huge stadium tour in 2018, ‘An Evening of ABBA’ returns for a brand new summer tour in 2022!

Stars from London’s West End, including cast members from the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! will come together to perform a dazzling concert of ABBA’s sensational music at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Saturday, September 3, 2022.

Backed by a fabulous West End ban, led by Mamma Mia’s former touring musical director Richard Weeden, this one-night concert spectacular is an evening no ABBA fan should miss!

Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s Head of Marketing & Consumer Sales Jack Bradley said: “We can’t wait to host ‘An Evening of ABBA’ once again following it’s huge popularity in 2018. The show now forms part of our West End Double-Header alongside ‘One Night of Neil’ confirmed for Friday 2 September.

“With the already announced Paloma Faith concert taking place on Sunday 31 July it’s going to be a busy summer of live music at the Uptonsteel County Ground with more announcements to come in the near future.”
