Leicestershire CCC is delighted to announce that Mervyn King, the Baron King of Lothbury, is our guest speaker at an exclusive business dinner on Tuesday, May 24 at Grace Road.
Mervyn was Governor of the Bank of England and Chairman of its Monetary Policy Committee for 10 years between 2003 and 2013. Mervyn subsequently took his place in the House of Lords after being made a life peer by Queen Elizabeth II for his significant contribution to public service.
BBC Test Match Special commentator and former Leicestershire fast bowler Jonathan Agnew will compere an evening in conversation with Mervyn, which will be held in the Charles Palmer Suite.
There will be a unique opportunity to put your questions to Mervyn on an evening where you will also enjoy a drinks reception, delicious three-course meal with a half bottle of wine, and coffee and mints.
Leicestershire CCC has already received a high level of interest in this exclusive black tie event and there are a limited amount of tables remaining.
The price is £1,000+VAT for a table of ten and for more information, please call Melanie Squires on 0116 245 2412 or email melaniesquiries@leicestershireccc.co.uk
