Big prizes up for grabs in new Indoor League

Get yourself ready for the 2016 season by entering a team in this winter’s PAK FOODS ALL STARS Indoor Cricket League in association with Leicestershire & Rutland Cricket.
LRC are currently looking to recruit local clubs to compete against each other making up two pools consisting of six teams each. The fast paced 8 a-side 16 overs game will be played during the group stages followed by quarter finals and a finals day.
Fixtures begin on November 28 at Leicester Sports Centre (16 Commercial Square, Postcode LE2 7SR) and run through to the end of January, offering players the perfect preparation for winter nets and beyond.
The competition takes place weekly on a Saturday between 3-5pm. All teams that enter will be involved in a great competition played in a competitive but sporting manner.
The winners of the PAK FOODS ALL STAR Indoor Cricket League will receive £250 and a signed Leicestershire County Cricket Club t-shirt from the 2015 squad. Also up for grabs for the winners and runners ups are tickets for a Leicestershire Foxes home T20 fixture next summer.
The cost of the league will be £40 per team to register, in which each player will receive a t-shirt. A match fee of £24 will be collected from each team per game, working out at £3 per player.
