Catch international stars at the FCG

This summer we have some of the world’s best and most exciting talent playing at the Fischer County Ground.

We are pleased to announce that if you decide to sign up as a Member, you can enjoy admission into all tourist and international fixtures being played at the Fischer County Ground in 2018!

First up visiting the FCG is the touring Pakistan side, who come for a two-day warm up fixture starting on Saturday, May 19. Pakistan are renowned for being one of the most exciting sides in world cricket. 

There is currently a strong link between Pakistan and Leicestershire CCC with this season’s overseas players Muhammad Abbas and Sohail Khan both Pakistan internationals.

Following the two-day tour game a Leicestershire side will face the touring India A team in a 50-over fixture before their tri-series with West Indies A and the England Lions. This game will take place on Tuesday, June 19.

The FCG will then host two tri-series games in consecutive days. First up is India A v West Indies A on Monday, June 25, followed by England Lions v India A the following day. The fixtures make an amazing opportunity to see tomorrow’s superstars in action.

The final international game of the summer is between World Champions England Women and New Zealand Women in a floodlit Royal London One-Day International on Friday, July 13.

After last summer’s successful ICC Women’s World Cup, we can’t wait to welcome back England Women and it there is the chance to see New Zealand in action, the only side that didn’t play at the FCG in 2017.
