Clements Limited extend partnership

Leicestershire County Cricket Club are delighted to confirm Clements Limited have extended their long running association with the Club.

The 2019 season is the 20th year of continued support from the company now based on Sheene Road in Beaumont Leys.

Over the years Clements have sponsored players including Phil DeFreitas, Chris Lewis, Darren Maddy, Devon Malcolm, Josh Cobb, Matthew Hoggard and Clint McKay to name but a few. They were founder members of the Captain's Club in 2011, and have been Specsavers County Championship shirt sponsors since 2012.

Company Director Dale Page forged a long-term friendship with a fresh-faced young player by the name of Paul Nixon in 1989, when, our now Head Coach, along with Alan 'Spider' Mullally, moved into rented accommodation in Groby.

The rest as they say is history, and 30 years on it seems fitting that as well as being shirt sponsors, Clements Ltd. have agreed to once again sponsor Nico for the forthcoming season.

Dale said: “Paul [Nixon] and I have a lot of memories from on and off the field and Clements are delighted to continue our support of Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

"With the majority of our business located in London and elsewhere in the country, we feel it is important to maintain a presence within the city. We are committed to our relationship with LCCC and look forward to what we hope will be an exciting season."

Leicestershire CCC Head Coach Paul Nixon said: "It's fantastic that Dale and all at Clements will continue to support the club, it makes a massive difference to us. To have supported us for 20 years is amazing and I'd like to thank Dale and everybody at Clements on behalf of the whole club."
