Club President Launches 2022 Season with Pre-Season Lunch

Leicestershire County Cricket Club President, Jack Birkenshaw is inviting Club Partners, Members and supporters of the Running Foxes to a pre-season lunch held at the Uptonsteel County Ground.

Save the date for Friday, March 25, 2021 for a special President’s Pre-Season Lunch in which all members of the 2022 first-team squad, including coaching team will not only be in attendance, but will be hosting their individual tables.

The lunch will consist of a sumptuous three-course meal, provided by the Club’s highly-admired Catering Manager, John Stew and his team in the Charles Palmer Suite, sitting adjacent to the playing field at the Uptonsteel County Ground.

Throughout the afternoon, you will hear from our Director of Cricket Claude Henderson, President Jack Birkenshaw, and CEO Sean Jarvis.

There will also be opportunities to put questions to our playing and coaching staff.

Sean Jarvis commented: “It feels like an eternity since we had our players and our supporters together under one roof, and to have the chance to do so once again means a lot to us as a Club.

“With the excitement already building for the 2022 season, this will provide a great opportunity to bring the Running Foxes together ahead of what promises to be a summer to remember for all.”

All profits made through ticket sales to the event will go to supporting the LCCC Foundation and it’s four key benefactors, those being Alex’s Wish, Healing Little Hearts, the LCCC Academy and the County-wide game at grassroots level.

Single tickets can be booked for £35+VAT while a table of 9 can be booked for just £300+VAT.
