Coaching restructure

Leicestershire County Cricket Club has announced that there is to be a coaching restructure at Grace Road.
Andrew McDonald, who is currently Head Coach at Grace Road, will become Elite Performance Director and is to be supported by an Elite Development Coach.
The Second XI and Academy role, which are currently one position, will be split into two jobs with an increased emphasis on talent identification at Academy level.
Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE said: “Our aim is to create a high performance coaching structure that we believe is fit for purpose for Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
“The structure will support and provide the very best for our players and help us to deliver on our five-year vision as a club.
“The positions of Second XI Coach and Academy Director have been split to ensure that we have a robust scouting system with an increased emphasis on talent identification.”
