Yes, an extensive Traffic Management Plan has been developed for the event, with a residents parking scheme in place throughout the day with neighbours of Leicestershire County Cricket Club having received the opportunity to reserve permits.
The area around the ground will therefore be residents parking only from 9am on Saturday, parking enforcement teams will be in the area and those vehicles attempting to park within the controlled parking zone or in areas where parking restrictions are in place, will be issued with parking fines or even towed away.
The area around the ground will also have a temporary one-way system in place from 3pm on Saturday to further help minimise the congestion in the locality of the venue and help to ensure that emergency services are able to effectively access the area and the ground.
Both temporary measures will operate until the early hours of Sunday (June 12).
The one-way system covers the following roads:
- Part of Grace Road
- Duncan Road
- Park Hill Drive
- Milligan Road
The Traffic Management Plan also intends to prevent non-resident traffic from entering the following roads:
- Knighton Lane
- Harold Street
- Denmark Road
- Vernon Road
- Percy Road
- Manners Road
- Belmont Street
- Lorraine Road
- Florence Street
