Engel & Sadler to address Society

The Leicestershire Cricket Society has two meetings before the end of the year, starting with former Wisden Editor Matthew Engel on Thursday, November 19.
Matthew, who has also worked on the Northamptonshire Evening Telegraph, Northampton Chronicle and Echo, Reuters, The Guardian and The Financial Times, will address members at 7.30pm in the Charles Palmer Suite.
The final meeting of the calendar year will take place on Wednesday, December 9 - please note the change of usual day - when former Leicestershire batsman John Sadler will be the speaker.
Sadler scored more than 5,000 runs in the first-class and List A arena and also made 785 T20 runs, being a key part of Leicestershire’s successful side that reached four consecutive Finals Days between 2003 and 2006.
Admission can be gained on the night for £5 but annual membership is still available at the excellent price of £20, which includes six more meetings in 2015-16.
