REPORT | The opening 2020 Vitality Blast match between Leicestershire Foxes and Derbyshire Falcons was abandoned without a ball bowled.
Conditions never relented at the Fischer County Ground with the scheduled 6:00pm toss never manging to take place, and the captains and umpires emerged just after 7:00pm to decide to abandon play.
This meant that the two teams had to settle for a point apiece and the Foxes will move on to the next game against Lancashire Lightning at the Fischer County Ground on Saturday.
