Final T20 at Grace Road on Friday

Leicestershire Foxes take on Nottinghamshire Outlaws in the final NatWest T20 Blast game of the campaign at Grace Road on Friday evening (5.30pm start).

The East Midlands derby rounds off what has been a fun summer of T20 action at the home of Leicestershire cricket, with some close and exciting games being played along the way.

The first meeting of the Foxes and Outlaws was a cracker with Umar Akmal displaying his class in guiding the team home with 76 not out alongside Matthew Boyce at Trent Bridge.

Nottinghamshire can still qualify for the quarter-finals but will need to win and improve their net run rate if Northamptonshire and Lancashire pick up another victory in the final three days of group fixtures.

The Foxes want to finish their campaign on a high and take momentum into Sunday’s Royal London 50-Over One Day Cup match against Surrey at Grace Road.

The game could see a few familiar faces at Grace Road with James Taylor, Harry Gurney and Greg Smith, who recently completed a loan spell at Leicestershire, all on Nottinghamshire’s roster.

Stuart Broad played in the fixture at Trent Bridge but is a key part of England’s 13-man squad that takes on Australia at Edgbaston next week.

Advance tickets for the game are available for the price of £16 adults and £3 for under 16s and can be brought online HERE or through phoning our ticket office on 0116 245 2401 before 5pm on Thursday evening.
