Former Players Day

The 40^th anniversary of Leicestershire County Cricket Club’s most successful season is the theme of the annual Former Players Day tomorrow.

The team won the County Championship and Benson and Hedges Cup in 1975 and also beat the touring Australians while the Second XI won the under 25s competition.

As part of celebrations, Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to welcome our former players to Grace Road.

There will be players from different eras, including Chairman Paul Haywood, Board Director Robin Matthews, Barry Dudleston, John Steele, Nigel Briers and Peter Willey.

We take great pride in our history at Leicestershire County Cricket Club and hope that our former players have an enjoyable day with us.
