Clements Retail – COVID-19 Virus Protection

The COVID crisis has touched all our lives and the way that we live them in an immeasurable way. The nation’s response has been incredible and hopefully we are starting to see glimmers of the journey that the UK now must take to get back to normality… whatever the new normality might bring!

Clements Retail, like every other company in the UK, has had to rapidly adapt to the business landscape we found ourselves presented with pretty much overnight. Clements was established in 1832 and are award winning experts in the creation of exceptional retail interiors. Our clients include:

As you can imagine, with retail virtually stopping overnight our business model has had to evolve and adjust to meet the challenges that lie ahead for the foreseeable few months.

Clements’ depth of capabilities really has come into their own, with our 60,000 sq ft manufacturing headquarters instantly turning our attention to supporting the NHS and healthcare heroes by manufacturing and donating large quantities of emergency PPE to hospitals. Our warehousing and logistics teams have also helped to keep the nation fed by working with several FMCG brands, making sure the shelves have been stocked and food supplies have got to those that need them most.

Now that lockdown restrictions are beginning to relax businesses are looking to reopen. Clements is now seeing strong demand from our regular clients to complete store refits and bring projects forwards, luxury brands are wanting to ensure they wow their customers with incredible new store interiors when they open their doors again.

Alongside this ongoing programme of work, Clements have adapted further to now offer a complete COVID-19 safety package helping to get office, commercial, retail and leisure businesses back open again, protecting staff whilst keeping customers safe.
