Foxes and Outlaws suffer washout

For the second year in succession, Leicestershire Foxes' NatWest T20 Blast fixture against local rivals Nottinghamshire Outlaws at the Fischer County Ground was sadly abandoned without a ball being bowled.

Persistent rainfall rendered play impossible with umpires Jeff Evans, Peter Hartley and Tim Robinson making the decision to abandon the match shortly before 8pm.

As a result, the Foxes and the Outlaws pick up a point apiece, leaving the home side in eighth place on eight points and the visitors leading the table with 14.

The Foxes now move on to Friday, where they entertain holders Lancashire Lightning in the NatWest T20 Blast at the FCG, 6.30pm start.
