Leicestershire County Cricket Club can today announce a new partnership with David Lloyd Leisure ahead of the 2023 campaign.
The
partnership with the Leicester Meridian branch of
David Lloyd will further enable the Foxes’ coaching setup, including newly-appointed
Batting Coach James Taylor, to deliver ‘the hardest and best planned pre-season
the Club has ever seen’, according to CEO Sean
Jarvis.
Players and coaches will benefit from the integration of the state-of-the-art fitness and health facility into their winter training plans, with access to gym, pool and spa facilities all supporting the strength and conditioning work outlined by the Club’s sports and medicine team.
The deal will see the health, fitness and leisure brand’s logo feature on Leicestershire CCC’s 2023 training T-shirts and on advertising space at the Uptonsteel County Ground next season, as well as providing opportunities for David Lloyd members to benefit from exclusive matchday and event news and promotions.
Jack McCann, Head of Strength and Conditioning at Leicestershire CCC, commented: “David Lloyd Meridian offers an unrivalled opportunity and location to drive the standard of physical training as a part of our winter training programme. We're all looking forward to the continued partnership.â€
Rob Wallace, General Manager at David Lloyd Leicester, said: “This exciting opportunity to work in partnership with Leicestershire County Cricket Club couldn’t be missed. I’m hoping our facilities and services will translate into performance for the upcoming season.â€
