Where are you from? Leicester

What is a fun fact about you? I once starred as a zombie extra in an amateur zombie apocalypse film

Do you have any pets? Yes, a white and black cat. I am usually covered in white cat hair!

What is your favourite food? Italian

If you could travel anywhere in the world [before COVID-19], where would you go? I’d love to go back to Thailand and explore more of the islands

 

Life at Leicestershire County Cricket Club

Summarise Leicestershire CCC in three words: Exciting, passionate, evolving.  

Summarise your role in 50 words: Sitting within the Company pillar, I am responsible for ensuring best practice in corporate governance, internal communication and providing streamlined and efficient administration support throughout the Club. My role is a new one so will be an exciting and interesting challenge in 2021, especially given current circumstances due to COVID-19.

What are your current top priorities in your role? Learning as much about the Club as possible, getting up to speed with ECB regulations and streamlining our administrative processes and procedures.

 

A bit more about you

What is your favourite holiday destination? At home or abroad? Greece

Apart from cricket, do you watch any other sports? Athletics

If you could invite any 3 celebrities to dinner who would it be and why? Rick Stein, as I’d like to learn how to cook fish properly, Outlander star Sam Heughan - he seems like a really nice person and I’d ask him about Men in Kilts, an upcoming series about his road trip round Scotland with Outlander co-star Graham McTavish, and Charlie Brooker as I’d love to know where he gets the ideas for Black Mirror.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Running, yoga, cooking, sewing, reading. 

 

Looking ahead to 2021

In your role what are your main goals for 2021? Ensure the club continues to be GDPR compliant, streamlining our processes, policies and procedures, making sure the office never runs out of copier paper!

How are you planning and preparing for 2021 and the new cricket season? Learning as much about cricket as I can and always thinking about how my role contributes towards ensuring the Club runs smoothly.

What are you most looking forward to in 2021? Hopefully, the end of COVID-19.
