Foxes Retail Gearing Up for End of Year Campaigns

Leicestershire County Cricket Club are targeting a record retail period, with a mixture of new product launches scheduled alongside a series of promotions over the coming weeks.

As the cold weather sets in, the County are introducing new coats, hats and gloves to their product range, to compliment the 1879 clothing range of hoodies and t-shirts introduced earlier in the year, as well as a new Foxes Gift range in readiness for the festive period.

Commercial Manager of Consumer Sales at Leicestershire CCC, Chris Tinbergen said: “Traditionally, the Club have only stocked a very limited retail range but following the successful trial of the pop up shop during the back end of last season, we are going to roll out our plans for further growth in this area.

“Supporters will get the opportunity to pick up a host of new bargains by buying online, and we will be offering Foxes fans the opportunity to exclusively pre-order our 2022 kits prior to Christmas.”

The Running Foxes are adding their own spin on the popular Black Friday trend by introducing ‘Green Friday’ into the retail calendar.

Beginning on Monday, November 22, 2021 and ending on Sunday, November 28, 2021, Green Friday will give Foxes fans the opportunity to purchase selected official Club merchandise with up to 50% savings to be made on selected items.

Once the Green Friday campaign concludes, the next day will see the Running Foxes launch their Cyber Monday campaign “ starting on Monday, November 29, 2021, with further product lines added.

The following Tuesday will see the launch Leicestershire County Cricket Club Christmas campaign; ‘…I’m dreaming of a green and red Christmas’.

As part of the 2021 Christmas campaign, this will see a number of winter essentials introduced into the retail offering, as well as seeing the favourites such as the 1879 range and Foxes Gift range once again discounted.

Selected items will be showcased, introduced and discounted throughout December, building up to the big day.

The multiple campaigns will then be topped off by a chance to pre-order your 2022 replica kit.
