Free family fun on first day of the season

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is hosting a FREE Family Open Day on the first day of the LV=CC game against Glamorgan on Sunday, April 12.

The gates open at 10am and there will be a number of fun events as well as the cricket with children being entertained by our brand new Red Monkey Play Pirate Ship and a treasure hunt.

Children will receive a free ice cream and balloon*, and there will be a bouncy castle and face painting as part of a fun-packed day.

There are food and drink options around Grace Road, including a barbeque and bar at the Bennett End of the ground.

Remember entry is FREE - so please support new Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE, Head Coach Andrew McDonald and Club Captain Mark Cosgrove on the first day of the season as Leicestershire County Cricket Club begins its new era.

Additional car parking is available at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium, postcode LE2 7NQ.

* Please note that the ice cream and balloon are subject to availability.
