Gavel comes down on Raine

The gavel has come down – and Leicestershire CCC is pleased to announce that Churchgate Auctions is again sponsoring Ben Raine as well as taking 1879 Club Membership for the upcoming 2018 season.
Raine was Leicestershire’s leading wicket taker in red ball cricket in 2017, taking 33 wickets at an average of just over 23. He also scored over 300 runs with a top score of 57.
Injuries meant that Raine was unfortunately ruled out of white ball competitions but the key all-rounder has been training hard in New Zealand in preparation for the 2018 campaign under new Head Coach Paul Nixon.
