Gurbaz' form continues into Abu Dhabi T10

The Abu Dhabi T10 competition kicked off on Friday, November 19, 2021 with Rahmanullah Gurbaz’ Delhi Bulls defeating Northern Warriors by six wickets, and Naveen-Ul-Haq’s Team Abu Dhabi overcoming Head Coach Paul Nixon’s Bangla Tigers by 40 runs.
Gurbaz has enjoyed a successful opening weekend to the T10 league after receiving the Player of the Match award for his big hitting innings achieving 30 runs in just 10 balls against Northern Warriors.
Gurbaz was also awarded Power Hitter of the Match after smashing three sixes in one over against The Chennai Braves. The new Foxes' T20 man currently sits as the tenth highest run scorer in the league, and the biggest hitter for the Delhi Bulls scoring the most sixes and runs.
The wicket-keeping batter is quickly becoming the focal point of the Delhi Bulls' success as they currently sit second in the T10 standings. Roman Walker made his debut in the T10 league for The Chennai Braves in their outing against Delhi Bulls on Sunday, November 21, 2021 where he created an instant impact with excellent figures 2 for 25 and noticeably taking the wicket of the dangerous star man and future teammate Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
Our right-arm fast bowler also claimed the Moment of the Match award as he took Mohammad Hafeez wicket.
Paul Nixon’s Bangla Tigers currently sit fourth out of six in the Abu Dhabi T10 League after a fiercely competitive opening two fixtures against both Gurbaz’ Delhi Bulls, and Naveen’s Team Abu Dhabi which were unsuccessful for the Tigers.
However, Paul Nixon and the Bangla Tigers are hopeful that they can still achieve domestic success within this competition as they flew to their first victory of the competition against a struggling Northern Warriors, winning by five wickets.
