Hill again in dominant form

Lewis Hill was again in magnificent form as Lutterworth gained another good result in the Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket League, sponsored by Everards.

Hill made it back-to-back centuries in scoring 155 not out as Lutterworth had a winning draw against Leicester Ivanhoe.

Lutterworth made 295-7 and Leicestershire Academy players Sam Evans and Harry Swindells scored 78 and 57 respectively in Ivanhoe’s reply of 235-8.

Aadil Ali is another player in good form and he scored 43 as Kibworth beat Syston by four wickets. Academy all-rounder George Corbett took a wicket opening the bowling for Syston.

Market Harborough beat Rothley Park by seven wickets and Zak Chappell was there at the end in making 14 not out.

Barrow Town made it two wins out of two by beating Hinckley and Sileby had a good 34-run win against 2014 champions Loughborough Town.

It was not a day to be a bowler at Kegworth as the hosts made 322-4 before Thorpe Arnold replied with 233-2.
