It’s Gin O’Clock at Leicester’s Premier Outdoor Venue

Visitors attending selected future events at Leicester’s Premier Outdoor Venue can look forward to enjoying a brand new cocktail experience at the ground.

In a new commercial deal, local gin Distillery, Burleighs, have agreed to attend four upcoming events at the Uptonsteel County Ground including both the Mamma Mia! & Top Gun Open Air Cinema screenings and the West End Concerts of An Evening of Tina and An Evening of Queen, where their very own ready to drink canned gin and tonics will be available for visitors to experience.

The newly launched 250ml cans come in two flavours, Signature Gin and Tonic and Pink Edition Gin and Tonic. Both flavours are delicately blended using the distillery’s two most popular gins.

The Burleighs’ Signature London Dry Gin, which is distilled with 11 carefully selected botanicals inspired by the British countryside and woodland around the distillery, is combined with a premium tonic containing a hint of elderflower to create a classic, crisp and vibrant G&T.

The Pink Edition Gin and Tonic uses Burleighs’ pink gin, which is inspired by Tokyo during Hanami. The gin adds Japanese cherry blossom, hibiscus, rose and pink grapefruit to the signature recipe and is balanced with a hint of rhubarb and tonic “ a perfect option for fans of zesty, floral gins.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club Event Manager Jack Bradley said “We are delighted to expand our drinks offering at the Uptonsteel County Ground for our upcoming open air cinema and concerts with the addition of the Burleigh’s ready to drink cans, it’s great to have a local company involved in what are proving to be very popular events.
