LCCC and Nuffield Health announce partnership

Leicestershire CCC is pleased to announce that Nuffield Health have become our Official Healthcare Partner for the next two seasons.
Nuffield Health, which has facilities at Leicester Hospital on Scraptoft Lane and a Fitness & Wellbeing Gym at Abbey Park in Leicester, will provide Leicestershire’s players with all of their healthcare needs.
The company will work closely with Head of Physiotherapy Rob Leather, Head of Strength and Conditioning Crofton Alexander and Club Doctor Harj Singh to ensure our players receive the best possible healthcare, in particular for recovery following injury.
Leicestershire CCC Commercial Director Jim Overend said: “We are delighted that Nuffield Health are on board with us for the next two seasons. We are looking forward to developing a close relationship with Nuffield Health and look forward to welcoming them to Grace Road.”
Hospital Director at Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital, Matthew Cook said: “We are absolutely delighted to become the Official Healthcare Partner of Leicestershire Country Cricket Club.
“We work closely with our patients, gym members and corporate clients in Leicestershire and to be able to extend our remit into a professional sports environment is incredibly exciting.
“We are very much looking forward to working with the team to help them maintain their health and fitness and ensure a successful season.”
