LCCC announce partnership with Morningside Pharmaceuticals

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is delighted to announce a two-year sponsorship deal with Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a manufacturer, wholesaler and exporter of medicines, supplying the global market with a wide range of pharmaceutical and healthcare products.

Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd is sponsoring our Medical Centre in the lower Meet, a facility that was officially opened earlier this year. It allows Leicestershire CCC players to receive the best match preparation and rehabilitation from injuries.

The centre has space for a private treatment room, an open plan treatment area and an adjoining trauma room which doubles as a crowd medical facility for use by St John’s Ambulance on matchdays.

The contribution made by Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd has also gone towards providing important equipment to the club’s Science & Medicine Department.

Leicestershire CCC has purchased jerk blocks for the gym to aid overhead lifting, a basket stretcher to help management of any serious injuries on the field and an RPX compression unit to aid player recovery from matches. 

Head Physiotherapist Rob Leather said: “The donation from Morningside Pharmaceuticals Ltd is greatly appreciated and has helped us to purchase vital equipment that enhances the science & medicine facilities and services available to Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

“The ability to purchase additional equipment of this quality supports the long term goals of the Science & Medicine Department and assists the club in its bid to improve its performance both on and off the field.”
