LCCC continue to pour the perfect pint

Marston’s Brewery, now part of Carlsberg Marston’s Brewing Company, join the long line of partners who are extending their association with Leicestershire County Cricket Club, as the agreement extends into its 10th year heading into the 2022 campaign.

With a number of changes being made at the Uptonsteel County Ground in recent times, the official pouring partner of the Running Foxes has not, cementing the partnership between the two parties as the relationship reaches new strengths.

Initially coming on board ahead of the 2012 campaign in Leicestershire, Marston’s Brewery have been supplying the hundreds of thousands of spectators that come through the gates with their award winning ales along with other beers in the portfolio brewed by Carlsberg Marston’s.

With their branding displayed around the boundary rope at the country’s biggest outfield, as well as on the Royal London Cup playing shirts, the company will receive huge amounts of exposure from their association with the Running Foxes.

Tracey Branson, Commercial Manager at Leicestershire County Cricket Club has worked closely with Marston’s Brewery - and Jacqui specifically - throughout the partnership and is delighted to once again welcome them back on board ahead of another new season.

She said: “Leicestershire CCC and Marston’s Brewery have been working together for a long time, and it is always pleasing to extend that partnership.

“The relationship with Marston’s Brewery has grown exponentially during the partnership, and Jacqui [Weatherhog] and her team do an amazing job.

“They have always been a delight to work with and we look forward to growing the relationship even further in 2022.”

Jacqui Weatherhog, Business Development Manager for Carlsberg Marston’s commented: “We are really excited to continue our longstanding partnership with Leicestershire CCC, now into its 10th year!

“The hard work of our Business Development Manager’s is what has made this possible and we are looking forward to seeing what this season brings for the club and for our portfolio of beers, as Leicestershire embark on their most exciting summer of cricket for a long time.”
