LCCC reiterates that it is a cashless County Ground

As the Club prepares for the return of spectators to the Uptonsteel County Ground, LCCC can reiterate the information that the venue is now cashless.
The news has already been communicated to fans and Members who are due to attend the upcoming LV= County Championship matches v Middlesex on Thursday, May 27 and Gloucestershire on Thursday, June 3.
The Uptonsteel County Ground joins the majority of sporting venues to become completely cashless for all cricket and events held at the ground.
The decision has been made to support with the safe return of spectators to the Uptonsteel County Ground as cashless payments reduces the physical exchange of cash between fans and staff.
All spectators to the ground are asked to bring a valid debit or credit card with them to make any purchases in ground.
Leicestershire CCC CEO, Sean Jarvis said: “The move to cashless supports the club’s work to safely welcome spectators back to the Uptonsteel County Ground, whilst making our operations more efficient within the ground.
“We appreciate that this is a significant change to our operations and we would like to thank our supporters for their patience and cooperation with this change.â€
All till operators at the Uptonsteel County Ground will be completely cashless, with only valid debit/credit cards accepted for payment.
