LCCC Socials Soar in Winter 2021

Leicestershire County Cricket Club have seen exciting growth across all Social Media platforms in the Winter months due to the ongoing incredible support from the Foxes fans.

LCCC have recorded the second largest increase in total social media following across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and Tik-Tok from October to November 2021 compared to the rest of the County circuit.

The rate of increase of interest across social media platforms has furthered the support of the Club on a global scale during what is usually a slow period for the Club.

Further, the Running Foxes reached another milestone in December as the Club’s following on Facebook exceeded 100,000 followers. On the back of this, the Club would like to extend a big thank you to every individual follower of the Running Foxes - your support is greatly appreciated.

As a thank you, we are running a competition and giving you, our loyal fans, the chance to win a family ticket - which caters for two adult and two child tickets - to our first home T20 Vitality Blast fixture of the 2022 season.

All you need to do is comment on the Facebook post of this article with the correct amount of wickets that the Leicestershire Foxes took, in total, during the 2021 T20 Vitality Blast competition.

To keep up-to-date with the Club’s social media content, you can follow us on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Tik-Tok.

You will find exclusive content on each channel, including videos such as  what the Running Foxes get up to when they are not training inside the Mike Turner Cricket Centre.

On Monday, December 6, 2021, Foxes TV released part one of LCCC’s team building exercises which involved a tournament of football games that took place Ellesmere College after the Strength and Conditioning Coach, Alex Carrie, put the players through their paces.

We strive to provide unprecedented access to our players for our fans and plans are in place to improve on this even further in the New Year.

“We cannot wait to welcome you all to Uptonsteel County Ground this upcoming season to support the Running Foxes in what is setting up to be a incredible season."

It is a true testament to the club and the club’s loyal supporters that we see the consistent support all year long. We look forward to seeing you all at Uptonsteel County Ground for the upcoming season, we cannot wait to show you what we have planned for 2022!
