LCCC's silent auction raising funds for Sri Lanka Academy Tour

Two lucky groups of Leicestershire young players have been given an incredible opportunity to go on tour to Sri Lanka in february half term 2022. 

 Organised by Lions Sports Travel Company the groups will consist of 10 Leicestershire Academy Scholarship players and 15 players from the Under 15s/16s and 17s will form a Leicestershire CCC Development team.

Leicestershire CCC are holding a silent auction, with all proceeds going towards fundraising for this fantastic Cricketing tour.

Head of Academy Pathway, Alastair Maiden commented: “The aim of the tour is to expose players to a different culture and to provide a training camp and development opportunity that will be invaluable. 

“It will develop players skills, mental approach, tactics and ultimately increase their awareness of playing in foreign conditions that favour spin bowling. The players will be extremely grateful for any financial support received from the Silent Auction”

The silent auction has an array of items that might be perfect for you, including signed shirts and bats from highly regarded Internationals, Cricket masterclasses covering all areas of the game with ex professionals, private box for 12 guests and many more exciting items that can be found HERE.

If you would like to bid on any of the items, you can do so by emailing your bid to Elaine Pickering at elainepickering@leicestershireccc.co.uk. The closing date for bids is Monday 20^th December. If you are successful, you will then be notified by 23^rd December and asked for payment.
