Leicestershire CCC to paint the ground green with Johnstone’s Trade Paint

Leicestershire County Cricket Club have sealed a new partnership with Johnstone’s Trade Paint ahead of the 2022 campaign, with the paint manufacturer becoming our first new official partner of the year.

The Club and business will work closely together to spruce up the Uptonsteel County Ground as the rebrand started last season continues into the upcoming 2022 season.

Not only will the business be the Club’s exclusive supplier of paint, but they will also advise Club employees on the technical use of the product, making sure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to during the makeover.

Leicestershire CCC CEO, Sean Jarvis, commented: “It is great to have such another great brand backing us here at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, proving that there is appetite to break into the cricketing world.

“The help of Johnstone’s Trade Paint will help us build the brand of the Running Foxes around the ground, particularly through the use of the Club’s red and green heritage colours.

“It will make such an impact around the ground in making the ground more vibrant also.”

Commenting for Johnstone’s Trade Paint, Business Unit Director, UK & Ireland, Matt Baines said: “We are really looking forward to working with Leicestershire County Cricket Club.

“It is an exciting project we will be embarking upon with the Club, and we are looking forward to helping the Club build its own brand identity around the ground.”
