Membership
Whether you would like to renew your Membership or sign up for the new season, you are welcome to join us for the 2018 season throughout the Yorkshire Vikings game. Please come to main reception to have the Membership processed.
Parking
Please note that on site parking for the Yorkshire Vikings game has now SOLD OUT.
Local off site parking is available FREE OF CHARGE at the Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium (Postcode: LE2 7NQ)
Foxes Den and other activities
Some of our First XI players will be on hand to sign autographs in the Foxes Den at 12:30, joined by our mascot, Charlie Fox. You can purchase one of our signature bats from any one of our retail outlets, the perfect way to get those signatures.
Lots of fun cricket-related activities are running throughout the day in our Foxes Den, which is situated behind the family stand. Our Red Monkey Play area will be open and there will also be an inflatable and face painting in that area of the ground.
A free Arts & Crafts area will be set up in the Bennett Bar in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre. We will also have an Animal Experience near that area on the day!

Play cricket at the interval
During the 45-minute innings interval, weather permitting, you’ll be able to make your way on to our hallowed turf of the Fischer County Ground, with a bat and ball and have a bit of cricketing fun! Look out for Charlie Fox who will also be on the pitch meeting his fans!
Walk to the wicket
As part of National Walking week, there are various treasure hunt trails to Fischer County Ground. Walk to the match: a number of treasure hunt trails are available, suitable for all ages and abilities to enjoy. If you walk to the game, you’ll be able to join in with the exciting activities on the field during the interval!

Food & Drink
Charles Palmer Restaurant
Catering Manager John Stew and his team will be delighted to welcome you to the Charles Palmer Restaurant this season. The Charles Palmer Restaurant is open for the Yorkshire Vikings fixture.
The menu options change daily and are cooked using a majority of freshly sourced local ingredients:
- A 3-course lunch with coffee and red fox mints at £17.95.
- A 2-course lunch with coffee and red fox mints is also available at £15.95.
It is advisable to book in advance to avoid disappointment. Reservations can be made by emailing Lindsey at lindseyjeffcoat@leicestershireccc.co.uk or by calling our main switchboard on 0116 283 2128. You can also book in person on match days (subject to availability) by talking with Lindsey in the Restaurant.
Reservations can be made at 12:15, 12:30 and 13:15.
The Meet
Trudy Sharpe and her team will offer a warm welcome to you all on the first floor of the Meet.
- Freshly cooked English breakfast is available from 09:30 together with a range of hot & cold morning snacks, and fresh ground coffee.
- A homemade dessert of the day will now be available along with a wide range or food to cater to all dietary needs.
- Freshly prepared and baked “call order” pizzas are available.
- A range of toasted sandwiches and baguettes, plus made to order omelettes and Leicestershire Welsh rarebit.
Fox Bar
The Fox Bar will be open from 09:30. Alcoholic beverages will be served from 11:00 daily and the bar will remain open to 30 minutes after play ends. The Fox Bar will offer fresh ground coffees and flavoured shots, English and speciality teas & fruit infusions. A selection of confectionary, biscuits, crisps, and freshly made sandwiches will also be available.
Mike Turner Indoor Centre
There will be a Mini Gin Bar and Pizzeria situated near to the Mike Turner Indoor Centre.
Ice cream shop
Our ice cream shop will be open on the ground floor of the Meet from 11:00, also selling hot and cold drinks, and confectionary
Charles Palmer Bar - Beer Festival
Following the successful beer festival we ran in 2017 during the tour game against the West Indies, we will again be hosting a mini beer festival throughout the day from the Charles Palmer Bar. Ales on offer will be York Brewery Guzzler, Ossett Yorkshire Blonde, Black Sheep, Masham and Otherside IPA, York. Be sure to pop by and sample the range!
Friends of Grace Road
The Friends of Grace Road will be open for extended hours for the Yorkshire Vikings game between 14:00 and 16:30, offering teas, coffees and homemade cakes. The cake of the day is Yorkshire Moggy Cake.
Copies of the 2018 Playfair are available to purchase for £8.99, which is £1 off the RRP. There is a limited supply, so please visit the Friends during the game.
The FoGR is also holding a Cafe Service for disabled spectators who cannot get upstairs to the Meet between 15:00 and 16:00 during the Yorkshire Vikings game. The FoGR Volunteer providing the service will take orders and payment around the ground from those spectators unable to visit the FoGR Cafe in the Meet.
When the volunteer has taken all the orders, the volunteer will return to the FoGR Cafe in the Meet to prepare all the orders and then deliver them to customers. There will be one lap of the ground to take orders. The FoGR Volunteer providing the service will wear a green hi-vis bib showing the FoGR logo and a FoGR badge.
Scorecards
Scorecards are available on the gates and in main reception on each day of the game. Each individual scorecard costs £1.
Merchandise
Leicestershire CCC has a new range of merchandise for the 2018 season. Make sure you pop into our shop to find out what we have to offer. The shop is situated near to main reception.
Yearbook
Leicestershire CCC has the 2018 Yearbook available for collection, and it’s free of charge for Members. Packed with statistics, and including a column from Head Coach Paul Nixon, the Yearbook is a must read for Foxes fans. Non-Members can purchase a copy for £5.

The Foxes will next be in action against Lancashire Lightning at Oakham School on Thursday, May 31. Tickets are available for £12 adults, £3 under 16s and £27 for a family ticket (2 adults & 3 under 16s) until 4pm on Wednesday, May 30 HERE
