Matchday Information

The Royal London Cup competition returns this season with Leicestershire Foxes kicking off their campaign against Derbyshire Falcons at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Thursday 22 July, starting at 11am.

The club’s priority is, as ever, to keep all visitors to the ground as safe as possible and to do that we all have a role to play and must respect others.

Prior to your visit, the club advise all visitors to read the updated Spectator Checklist HERE and the Code of Conduct HERE.

Timings

Gates Open: 10am
Start: 11am
Interval: 2:30pm
Close: 6:30pm approx.


Tickets

Tickets for the match v Derbyshire Falcons are available to purchase online HERE. To get the best-priced tickets of adults £15 and U16s £1, fans must purchase online by midnight tonight [Wednesday 21 July]. Fans will be sent their tickets via email with the options of either print at home or downloading an e-ticket onto a smartphone which can be scanned upon entry.

Tickets will be available to purchase on the day of the fixture. Fans must go to the Curzon Road entrance where they will be asked to complete a contact data form. On the gate tickets are priced at £20 adults and £3 U16s. Payment is via credit/debit card only.


Members

All Members have been sent a Member Card which will allow them access to the match. Please bring the card with you as this will be scanned in at the gate to allow entry.


Collection Points

The ticket collection point is at Curzon Road only.


Arrival and Entry

The gates will open at 10am. All spectators are politely asked not to arrive before this time.

Plan your journey to allow extra time. There will be additional checks on arrival, so please give yourself sufficient time for your journey.

Entry is by Member card or ticket only. Spectators can enter via either the Milligan Road or the Curzon Road entrances. Re-entry is also permitted through either gate.


Seating

Spectators can sit within any of the available stands, these are; Uptonsteel, Gallagher, Melton Building Society Family or the Pavilion Stands.


Live Stream

A live streaming service will be provided which will begin shortly before the start of play. 


Parking

On-site parking is available for fans who have purchased a parking pass this season. Purchasers should have received a Parking Permit in the post. Please enter via the Curzon Road entrance where stewards will be on-hand to direct you where to park.

Unfortunately, Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium will not be open for parking for this fixture, please find alternative parking but, respect our local neighbouring roads.  


Food and Drink

Refreshment facilities will be available to spectators, but in a limited fashion. 

Bennett Bar “ Located in the Mike Turner Indoor Cricket School

  • Open from 10:00 serving tea, coffee, and soft drinks
  • 11:00 onwards serving alcoholic beverages
  • 12:00 onwards serving above and food. (Daily hot special and sandwiches)

 

Friends of Grace Road, located in Bennet bar

  • Open from 14:00 serving homemade cakes, tea, and coffee

Food outlet located behind the Gallagher Stand at the Bennett End of ground

  • Open from 10:00 serving breakfast rolls, hot grills, vegetarian options, tea, and coffee

 

Food outlet located, behind The Melton Building Society Family Stand

  • Open from 10:00 serving breakfast rolls, hot grills, vegetarian options, tea, and coffee


Geary Bar “ Located between the Pavilion and the Melton Building Society Family Stand

  • Open from 10:00 serving tea, coffee, and soft drinks
  • 11:00 onwards serving above and alcoholic beverages
  • 12:00 onwards serving above and food. (Hot pies and sandwiches)

 

Food outlet located behind the Pavilion Stand

  • Open from 10:00 serving Hog Roast

 

Retail 

There will be a pop-up shop in the marquee between the traditional scoreboard and the Melton Building Society Family Stand. Have a browse to grab some bargains.

Cashless

The Uptonsteel County Ground is now cashless. Therefore, if you are looking to make any purchases within the ground please bring a debit or credit card with you to make payment. 

 

Safety

The club politely ask for spectators to be respectful of others when in the ground.

The club encourages spectators to wear a face covering and maintain distancing in crowded and/or indoor spaces.

Sanitization stations will remain in locations at various points throughout the ground.

 

Toilets

Toilets are available at various points around the ground and are regularly cleaned for health and safety purposes.

 

Scorecards

Scorecards will be available at each Bar for fans to pick up.
