Multi-faith Area

Leicestershire County Cricket Club has become one of the first in the country to open a multi-faith area for visiting spectators.

The club has engaged thoroughly with the local community to ensure that supporters have a positive experience at the ground. This includes looking at the various needs of spectators. The multi-faith area will be based upstairs in the Mike Turner Cricket Centre.

Pre-match activities/Guard of Honour/Interval

There will be a primary school competition on the morning of the game, including Shaftesbury, Sir John Moore, Parks Primary, Little Bowden, Folville and Abbey Primary. The competition draw will be led by former England captain Charlotte Edwards, who we are delighted to welcome to the Fischer County Ground.

The guard of honour will be led by Madani Schools Federation Girls and Leicestershire u13s girls as the two teams make their way on to the pitch.

Keep an eye out for a fantastic fielding demonstration by Leicestershire Young Cricketers Girls u13s, u15s and u17s teams during the interval.

In-game Entertainment

Our Foxes Den is in position where a host of exciting activities will take place from 12 noon through to the 15th over of the second innings.

As part of the Foxes Den, the Royal Air Force’s inflatable will clock how fast you are bowling and there will also be catching challenges as part of free coaching led by Leicestershire CCC’s In The Community team.

A host of fun activities and giveaways will be provided by the ECB, and Loughborough Lightning's Kia Super League players and coaches will also be here - so there's lots going on!
