Millns & Smith to speak at first FoGR lunch

The 2016-17 programme of Friends of Grace Road winter lunches will again deliver some memorable occasions.
There are three dates in the diary, starting with Friday, November 4, where former Leicestershire players David Millns and Ben Smith will be our guest speakers.
Millns and Smith have fond memories of the 1996 season and will recall them in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the fantastic County Championship success.
The second of the FoGR winter lunches will take place on Friday, February 3, where former Leicestershire cricketer and first-class umpire Barry Dudleston will speak.
Leicestershire’s build-up to the 2017 season will be the focus of the third and final FoGR winter lunch, which will be held on Friday, March 3.
The lunches will be served in the Charles Palmer Suite at 12.30pm with the Fox Bar open for refreshments from 12 noon.

* The second Annual FoGR Quiz will be held on Friday, November 25 in the Charles Palmer Suite at the Fischer County Ground. There is an exciting new format in 2016 of a general knowledge quiz with questions to suit all ages and interests.
Teams of up to four people are welcome to participate and the cost of entry is £20 per team, including a hot buffet. Spectators are also welcome to attend with admission set at £1.
Quiz teams will include LCCC Players & Coaches, LCCC Staff, FoGR Volunteers, Leicestershire Cricket Society and local sports clubs.
