Naveen-Ul-Haq and Gurbaz drafted into the Pakistan T20 Super league.

Our Afghanistan duo Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Naveen-Ul-Haq have been drafted into the seventh edition of the Pakistan Super League draft, with the competition due to take place between 27^thJanuary to 27^th February 2022.

Islamabad United, PSL’s most successful team with two PSL titles, have selected Rahmanullah Gurbaz as their final overseas player in the supplementary round of the draft.

Gurbaz, who will be partaking in the Vitality Blast for the Leicestershire in the upcoming 2022 season, will make his second appearance in the competition.

In Rahmanullah Gurbaz’s inaugural appearance within the PSL last year, he played only one game for Multan Sultans. Since then, Gurbaz has developed as a player through representing his national team, Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup 2021 and has been in scorching form in the Abu Dhabi T10 league achieving the ‘Outstanding batter of the tournament award’.

The wicket-keeping batter’s blockbuster season has not gone unnoticed, and Islamabad United are hoping he can continue the firework performances with the bat after achieving a record most sixes in the T10 competition recently.

The Quetta Gladiators have drafted Afghanistan and Running Foxes fast bowler Naveen-Ul-Haq in the silver round of the PSL T20 draft.

Naveen looks to continue his tremendous form with the ball, after winning the Man of the Match award for his final over heroics, claiming two wickets and conceding just three runs in the last game of his Abu Dhabi T10 campaign.

The Running Foxes’ man has also recently achieved a fantastic personal milestone of being the first Afghan seamer to reach 100 T20 wickets.
