Neil & ABBA - All You Need to Know

Stars of London’s West End Stars perform ‘One Night of Neil’ at the Uptonsteel County Ground on Friday, Sept 2, and ‘An Evening of ABBA’ on Saturday, Sept 3.

 

TIMINGS

Gates open 6:00pm

Show Starts: 7:30pm

Show Ends: Approx. 10:00pm

 

TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased online HERE

Tickets will also be available to purchase on the day of the concerts from our Ticket Office at the Curzon Road entrance from 6pm.

If you are collecting tickets this will also be from the Curzon Road Ticket Office.

 

GROUND ENTRY

The only entrance that will be open is on Curzon Road, off Duncan Road, which is accessible from either Aylestone Road or Saffron Lane. Postcode LE2 8EB.

CAR PARKING

On-site car parking is available at the ground and can be pre-booked for £6.50 via our website HERE.

We recommend car parking to be pre-booked ahead of the day, any remaining availability will be available on a first-come-first-served basis for £6.50 upon arrival (card payment only).

 

Leicestershire County Cricket Club politely reminds visitors that the ground is in a residential area, so please respect our neighbours when leaving your vehicle. The Club is carefully monitoring the traffic flow around the ground and would request that you avoid leaving your car in neighbouring streets wherever possible.

 

TAXI ARRANGEMENT

If you are looking at arranging a taxi to pick you up from the ground after the concert, please arrange for the taxi to arrive at the Milligan Road Entrance only. 

 

ACCESSIBLE VENUE

The Uptonsteel County Ground is an accessible venue, please read our Access Statement HERE.

 

STANDING & SEATING AREAS

Spectators with seated tickets are also permitted into the standing area and are welcome to come and go you wish.

Spectators with standing tickets are NOT permitted into the seated stand.

 

WEATHER

The event will continue to go ahead whatever the weather conditions except in the circumstance that there is any risk to the health and safety of spectators.

*Please note that this is an outdoor event and there is no shelter on the cricket outfield or in the seating stand.

 

UMBRELLAS

Due to obstruction and health and safety reasons, umbrellas are not permitted.

 

FOOD & DRINK

There will be a great range of food and drink available from various outlets when gates open including:

• The Bennett Bar (Inside The Mike Turner Cricket Centre)

• Gin & Prosecco Bar

• Burger Van

• Hog Roast

• Ice cream van

 

*Please note that no alcohol from outside of the ground is permitted.

 

FOOTWEAR

Please note the standing area is on a grass surface so please wear sensible footwear.

 

SMOKING

Smoking is NOT permitted in standing and seating areas. Smoking is only permitted designated area one of which is the car park behind the Mike Turner Cricket Centre.

 

TOILETS

Male, Female & Disabled toilets are located behind the green seating stand at the end of the Mike Turner Cricket Centre and also inside on the ground floor of the Mike Turner Cricket Centre.
