SCORE | Day 2 of 4, Specsavers County Championship: Leicestershire CCC v Derbyshire CCC – no play
REPORT | The second day of the Specsavers County Championship match between Leicestershire CCC and Derbyshire CCC followed the same path as the first in being abandoned without a ball bowled.
With some overnight rain followed by heavy precipitation from 8am, umpires Jeff Evans and Michael Gough again opted to take an early lunch at 12 noon.
Rain continued to fall and there was no chance of play at the Fischer County Ground for the second day in succession.
The two teams will again be hoping for better weather tomorrow morning, but for the latest on the prospects of play, stay tuned to our website and social media updates @leicsccc.
