One millionth run fast approaching!

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is on the verge of recording 1,000,000 first-class runs in our history.

At the start of the 2014 season, Leicestershire moved to within 4,300 runs of reaching 1,000,000 in first-class cricket. There have been 3,160 runs scored so far this year so Leicestershire require a further 1,140 to reach the landmark.

To celebrate the milestone, we are running a competition for a bit of fun that will also raise vital funds for Friends of Grace Road.

The prize is the chance for four people to watch a day’s LV=CC play from one of our hospitality suites and we will also provide lunch in the Charles Palmer Suite and some afternoon tea.

All you have to do is guess which Leicestershire batsman will score the magical run. We are also asking you to guess the opponents and the date it will be scored on to help in a tie-break situation.

In the event that more than one person gets all criteria correct, the winning entry will be the one that was entered the earliest.

Entry costs £1 and you can enter as many times as you wish. We ask for your entry fee upon receiving the form but you need to get the form in quickly as the record will go soon!

Remember that in the event of a tie, the earliest entry will win. Entry forms can be downloaded below or picked up from main reception or from the Friends of Grace Road in the Meet.
