Thu 19 Mar 2015

We want you to sample the matchday experience at Grace Road – so Leicestershire County Cricket Club is opening its doors for the first day of the 2015 season on Sunday, April 12.
The club is hosting an Open Day whereby people can come to watch the first day of the Glamorgan game absolutely FREE of charge and have a look around Grace Road.
The gates open at 10am and there will be a number of fun events as well as the cricket with children being entertained by our brand new Red Monkey Play Pirate Ship and a treasure hunt.
Children will receive a free ice cream and balloon*, and there will be a bouncy castle and face painting as part of a fun-packed day.
We will have a three-course meal available for those who would like to book lunch with us in the Charles Palmer Restaurant.
Prices have been reduced by 10% on the Sunday, so adults can dine for £13.45 and children under 12 are half price. You are advised to book in advance on 0116 2452401 as our Restaurant fills quickly.
There will also be a barbeque at the Bennett End of the ground and drinks will be available to buy at bars around the ground.
Remember entry is FREE - so please support new Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE, Head Coach Andrew McDonald and Club Captain Mark Cosgrove on the first day of the season as Leicestershire County Cricket Club begins its new era.
* Please note that the ice cream and balloon are subject to availability.
