Our Spectacular Fireworks Evening Returns for 2021!

One of the biggest Fireworks Displays in Leicester returns to the Uptonsteel County Ground on Friday, November 5, 2021.

Following the sold-out event in 2019, Leicestershire County Cricket Club are excited to be holding the spectacular Fireworks, Light and Laser display once again. 

The large family funfair will also be making a return, with a wide range of rides and attractions so there’ll be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

Lots of food stalls including candyfloss, toffee apple and a sweet stall, alongside burger vans serving hot food will all be available in the ground to give you the full funfair experience. 

Event Manager, Jack Bradley said: “Our annual Fireworks Evening is now one of our biggest events in the calendar.

“The event in 2019 was sold-out which shows its popularity with families from across the county heading to the Uptonsteel County Ground. 

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to the ground for an even bigger and better display this year!”

• Private Box (minimum numbers of 10 - maximum numbers of 20)

Enjoy the display from your own private box, with a balcony view and cushioned seating.

You will also receive a pre-display hot food option served in your suite and a complimentary bar including beer, wine and soft drinks plus tea & coffees to enjoy.

·       Adults - £50+ VAT

·       Under 16 - £30 +VAT

• New Marquee

Enjoy the display from the new Marquee private garden.

The Marquee has a fantastic pitch-side view with seating both inside and outside of the marquee.

You will also receive a pre-display hot food option served in the marquee and access to a private cash bar.

We are delighted to announce that ‘Alex’s Wish’ will once again be the Official Event Charity Partner.

With each adult ticket purchased, 75p will be with donated to the Leicestershire based charity.

Emma Hallam Charity Founder & Proud Mum to Alex said “The event was absolutely amazing in 2019 and the money raised from the ticket sales donations supported our investments into potential life-saving treatments for those living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We are really excited to see everybody at the event once again this year and will be selling light lasers with all proceeds going to our cause”.

Car Parking

Please note there will be no on-site car parking for the event, and parking restrictions on the roads surrounding the ground will be in force.

Alternative off-site car parking will be available at local locations just a short walk away from the ground.

Parking at Saffron Lane Athletics Stadium is available to book in-advance.

Please note that spaces are limited so the club strongly recommend booking early to secure a space.

Entertainment

The Family Fair Ground will open at 5pm with a wide variety of rides available for all ages to enjoy.

Please note prices vary for different rides.

There will also be a face painter and activities located in the Indoor Cricket Centre.

Important Spectator Notices

Please note that all persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years old at all times during the event.

Entry will not be permitted to persons with an under 16 ticket without a supervising adult presenting their party.

Alcohol Policy

Please note no alcohol can be brought into the ground by any spectator.

Alcohol is available to purchase from the bars inside the Uptonsteel County Ground.
