Our Spectacular Fireworks Evening Returns for 2022!

One of the biggest Fireworks Displays in Leicester returns to the Uptonsteel County Ground on Friday, 4 November, 2022.

Following its spectacular sold-out comeback last Autumn, Leicestershire County Cricket Club are excited to be holding the stunning Fireworks, Light and Laser display once again. 

The large family funfair will also be making a return, with a new range of rides and attractions so there’ll be plenty to keep the whole family entertained.

Lots of food stalls including candyfloss, toffee apple and a sweet stall, alongside burger vans serving hot food will all be available in the ground to give you the full funfair experience.

“The event in both 2019 and 2021 was a sell-out, which shows its popularity with families from across the county heading to the Uptonsteel County Ground.

• Private Box (minimum numbers of 8 - maximum numbers of 20)

Enjoy the display from your own private box, with a balcony view and cushioned seating.

You will also receive a pre-display hot food option served in your suite and a complimentary tea & coffee and access to a private cash bar.

• Morningside Marquee

Enjoy the display from our Morningside Marquee private garden.

The facility has a fantastic pitch-side view with seating both inside and outside.

You will also receive a pre-display hot food option served in the marquee and access to a private cash bar.

Car Parking

Please note there will be no on-site car parking for the event, and parking restrictions on the roads surrounding the ground will be in force.

Alternative off-site car parking will be available at local locations just a short walk away from the ground.

Entertainment

The Family Fair Ground will open at 5pm with a wide variety of rides available for all ages to enjoy.

Please note prices vary for different rides.

There will also be a face painter and activities located in the Indoor Cricket Centre.

Important Spectator Notices

Please note that all persons under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 18 years old at all times during the event.

Entry will not be permitted to persons with an under 16 ticket without a supervising adult presenting their party.

Alcohol Policy

Please note no alcohol can be brought into the ground by any spectator.

Alcohol is available to purchase from the bars inside the Uptonsteel County Ground.
