Pete Johnson's End of Season Thanks

Well, that’s it then. The curtain comes down on the 2022 season for Leicestershire 2nd XI. Before signing off, I would just like to publicly recognise the contribution that a number of LCCC employees have made to the 2nd XI during the season.

Dips Patel our 2nd XI Head Coach has put in countless hours giving tuition, advice and encouragement during the season, in addition to all the unseen work he does. A much valued, and absolute workaholic who gives the Club his all. Dips, has been ably assisted, at various times during the season by, Jigar Naik, Paul Johnson, Phil Defreitas, and Dave Whitmore. The contribution the aforementioned 4 people have made should not be under estimated. 2nd XI Physio, Oli Price, has also been a constant throughout the season.

Sincere thanks to Dan Nice, Cricket Operations Manager, for his meticulous behind the scenes work regarding all the logistics entailed in 2nd XI fixtures, including arranging venues for home games, transport, hotel accommodation etc.

Finally, my sincere personal thanks to Jack Gabriel, Communications and Digital Marketing Executive at LCCC for putting all of the Match Reports on the LCCC Website, Facebook, and Twitter. I do hope that it has kept you in touch with individual performances, and results of our 2nd XI.
