Loughborough University’s Anish Patel, who has played for Leicestershire Second XI in the past, made 99 to ensure Loughborough claimed a draw at Hinckley Town/CCA.
The hosts made 256-7 and were within one wicket of the win as Loughborough closed on 220-9. Ollie Freckingham made 28 off 45 balls as part of an important seventh wicket stand of 52 with Patel.
