Playing opportunities in winter

Get yourself prepared for the 2017 season by entering a team in this winter’s ALL STARS Indoor Cricket League in association with Leicestershire County Cricket Club.
We are currently looking to recruit local clubs to compete against each other making up two pools consisting of six teams each. The fast paced 8 a-side 16 overs game will be played during the group stages followed by quarter finals and a finals day.
Fixtures begin on Saturday, November, 19, 2016 and run through to the end of February 2017, offering players the perfect preparations for winter nets and beyond.
The competition takes place weekly on Saturday between 2-5.30pm. All teams that enter will be involved in a great competition played in a competitive, but sporting manner.
Winners of the ALL STARS Indoor Cricket League will receive £500 and a signed Leicestershire County Cricket Club piece of merchandise from the 2016 squad. Also up for grabs for the winning and runners up team are tickets for Leicestershire Foxes 2017 home group fixtures next summer.
The cost of the league will be £40 per team to register, in which each player will be receive a playing t-shirt. A match fee of £24 will be collected from each team per game- working out at £3 per player.

The sessions are run by Leicestershire CCC for people aged 50+ on a weekly basis on a Thursday between 10-11am. The sessions cost £3.80 with a leisure card & £4.25 without a card.
