Premier Logistics to Sponsor County Cup

Premier Logistics have signed up to become the official event partner for the County Cup, the Club’s end of season golf day at The Leicestershire Golf Club.

The event will take place on Friday, 16 September at the county’s premier course, and will follow a Ryder Cup style format, played in teams of four across 18 holes.

Two former Leicestershire CCC players will captain the sides, with competitions and individual prizes to be awarded in a post-round presentation.

The day will serve as a networking event for the Running Foxes’ current official partners, as well as potential clients, in which players can socialise with one another and representatives of the Club.

Premier Logistics, who came on board with LCCC earlier this year, are set to sponsor the event, having already shown their commitment through a Boundary Club package and the sponsorship of T20 overseas star, Naveen ul-Haq.

Macauley Christopher, Client Relationship Manager at Premier Logistics, said: “We are excited to become the main sponsor of LCCC’s County Cup.

“We started supporting LCCC earlier this year through our Boundary Club Package and have already seen the benefits.

“We are looking forward to seeing everybody there on the day and hoping for some low scores!’

Conor Danes, Business Development Executive at Leicestershire County Cricket Club, said: “We are delighted to further our relationship with Premier Logistics outside of Uptonsteel County Ground.

“We are all really looking forward to seeing our sponsors, as well as some new faces, and urge those interested to snap up the remaining places while they still can.”

Everyone attending will be greeted with breakfast rolls, teas and coffees upon arrival, followed by a two-course meal after the conclusion of their 18 holes.
