With just over two weeks to go until the first NatWest T20 Blast game at Grace Road, Leicestershire is recommending that supporters snap up tickets quickly after announcing record advanced sales figures.
More than 3,500 tickets have been snapped up for the Falcons match on Friday, May 22nd - more than any previous NatWest T20 Blast group game at this stage in the past.
Supporters are therefore urged to take advantage of our special advance price offer of £10 for adults, £5 students, £1 under 16s and £20 for a family ticket to avoid disappointment of missing out.
Ticket prices include a full day’s entertainment with the Varsity match between Official Club Partner De Montfort University and University of Leicester (12.30pm start) taking place before the big Leicestershire Foxes v Derbyshire Falcons NatWest T20 Blast clash (5.30pm).
Overseas star Grant Elliott said: “It’s great to know that so many people have bought tickets to watch us in advance and are backing the Foxes this summer. Your support will make a massive difference to the team.”
Membership and Ticket Sales Executive Jack Bradley has been busy in the ticket office and hopes that will continue in the build-up to the game.
He said: “It is so encouraging to see so many people buying tickets in advance and we recommend that our supporters continue to do that in order to get the best value.
“We can also offer special rates for the whole NatWest T20 Blast competition if you are bringing more than ten people, so please get in touch if your club or group would like a night out at Grace Road.”
With the new Red Monkey Play area in place, a FanZone area after the game with a chance to meet the players and get autographs and selfies, and face painting and a bouncy castle on offer, we have lots of entertainment for our young supporters.
There will be a wide range of food and drink options around the ground and a 'Blast from the Past' retro theme, so a NatWest T20 Blast game at Grace Road is the ideal family night out.
Commercial Director Jim Overend said: “We are working hard to make the NatWest T20 Blast a great matchday experience for all, whether you are bringing the family, coming with a friend or having a night out with your club.
“We have five matches being played on Friday nights and are running a number of initiatives , including reduced prices for the first game, special group offers for clubs and schools, £1 advance tickets for under 16s, a premium ticket option with our Beer & Balti offer and lots of matchday entertainment.”
