Leicestershire CCC has announced that Dan Redfern and Andrea Agathangelou have not been offered new contracts and have left Grace Road.
Redfern, 25, scored 692 first-class runs for Leicestershire at an average of 25.62 and added a further 124 runs in white ball cricket. He also picked up 15 wickets for the club with his off-spin, including 11 wickets in first-class cricket at 32.57.
The 25-year-old Agathangelou played some important innings for Leicestershire, not least the 42 not out that helped get the team land their first LV=CC win of the season at Essex.
Agathangelou was also extremely athletic in the field and took a number of catches in the slip cordon, including a couple of breathtaking diving efforts.
Leicestershire and Rutland Cricket Chief Executive Wasim Khan MBE said: “We’d like to thank Dan and Andrea for their contributions to Leicestershire County Cricket Club and we wish them all the very best for the future.”
