A limited number of tickets are available for cricket fans ahead of the upcoming LV= County Championship fixtures against Middlesex CCC and Gloucestershire CCC at the Uptonsteel County Ground.
The Running Foxes are set to meet Middlesex for the first time in 2021 on Thursday, May 27, 2021, followed up by the visit of Gloucestershire on Thursday, June 3, 2021 before the Vitality Blast competition gets underway.
The Middlesex fixture will see fans return to the Uptonsteel County Ground for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Club recently announce that tickets will be distributed to Members and fans via a ballot system in which fans had to apply for tickets to certain days of these fixtures.
All members who applied for tickets through the ballot system have been successfully granted tickets. Tickets have begun to be posted and should reach members in the next few days.
Following the allocation of tickets for members, a limited number of tickets are now being released to purchase. Supporters are advised to purchase early to avoid disappointment. Tickets must be pre-purchased as there will be no available tickets to purchase on the day of the game.
Leicestershire CCC Commercial Manager for Consumer Sales, Chris Tinbergen said: “It has been a long time coming, but at last, we can allow supporters back to enjoy some cricket again. We have a very limited number of tickets still available for each of the four days.
“We encourage supporters to purchase early as no tickets will be sold on the day of each fixture, so anyone interested in attending the fixture, should do so as soon as possibleâ€
