Leicestershire CCC is calling all clubs to enter the Blast Challenge when the Foxes play their NatWest T20 Blast game against Yorkshire Vikings on Friday June, 26, 2015.
Clubs who sell 10 tickets or more for this game at Grace Road can enter the Foxes Blast Challenge. It’s a unique and exciting opportunity to win a fabulous cash prize for your club - watched by a lot of cricket supporters!
Format:
• Each team of 6 players will line up in lanes across the outfield.
• The objective: To throw a cricket ball from player to player, down your lane and back to the start as quickly as possible. Accurate throwing, lightning reactions, concentration and great hands are essential if your team is to blast away the opposition!
• The winning team is then eligible to line up for the Foxes Blast Challenge
• This challenge involves a bowling machine (set to maximum thrust!) launching a ball over 100ft in the air. The task is for any of your team of 6 players - who are positioned around the landing zone - to catch the ball.
If this is achieved, your club will win a £200 cash prize!
Our Stadium Announcer will build the atmosphere... your club’s name will be announced to the crowd... pulses will race... palms will sweat...
