Richard Rae's marathon effort

There'll be a different voice on the BBC Radio Leicester microphone for the first day of the match against Northamptonshire on Sunday April 26, because usual commentator Richard Rae will be otherwise engaged raising funds for Cancer Research by running the London Marathon.

There aren't many of us who don't know someone who hasn't been affected by cancer, and Richard lost a brother and sister to the condition over the winter, but as he points out, the work done by Cancer Research means constant progress is being made in improving treatment.
